Renault Campingbus von Marco

This van was completely converted by myself using top quality components and materials. I have built it to be able to travel for long periods of time (several months in a row) without compromising comfort and durability. Lights are separeted in 3 zones (bedroom, kitchen and bathroom) and are controlled by a remote. There are several 12v, 220v and USB outlets in different parts of the van. Everything is electric and powered by 5x100W solar panels on the roof that charge a 600ah LiFePo4 service battery through a Victron MPPT that has bluetooth connection so you can monitor battery load, charge and solar panel input from your mobile phone. The bedroom area is equipped with a 140x190 mattress (20cm memory foam), closet with 3 sliding doors and hanging units on top. Kitchen has a big Smeg sink with hot water, a Dometic fridge with small freezer comprartment, a little electric oven and a double Klarstein induction cooktop (that can be removed and used outside too). Plus there is a single gas stove for emergencies or for camping outside. There is a big Maxxfan on the roof with remote control, this fan can be used to suck air out of push air in, even when it rains. Bathroom is equipped with hot water shower (15L electric water heater, enough for 2 showers) and Nature's Head compost toilet that needs to be emptied only once a month. There are 3 fresh water tanks (total 220 liters). In case of outside freezing temperatures, it's possible to exclude the 2 external tanks and only use the internal one. Grey water tank is 50 liters. There are 3-stage water filters on the kitchen cold water line. Underneath the bed there is a huge loading area that can fit at least 2 bikes and several weeks of supplies. Auxiliary heating is available through a 5kw diesel heater which is directly connected to the van's diesel tank. The van is equipped with a towing hook too, so you can attach a trailer or a caravan.
