This camper has been quietly observing the world for over 36 years. It has crossed borders that no longer exist, parked beneath changing skies, and learned the patience of long roads and temporary homes. For two of those years it was also our only home, carrying us across Europe and offering a steady, reliable place to return to each day — familiar, calm, and grounding. What began life as a Hymer has, over time, become something personal: a unique home on wheels shaped by experience rather than production-line uniformity. The open layout, generous storage, and rear kitchen and bathroom create a space that’s both practical and genuinely cosy — easy to inhabit, easy to share, whether travelling as a couple or a small family. Since joining MyCamper in 2020, we’ve refurbished and refined the camper with everyday living in mind. There’s no excess or gimmickry — just a warm, well-considered interior where everything works as it should. Discreet modern touches such as LED lighting and a quality hi-fi with Bluetooth and a subtle subwoofer add comfort without disturbing the analogue character. It’s a place for simple meals, quiet evenings, and time that isn’t measured by notifications. Beneath the living space is the dependable Citroën C25 platform — honest, mechanical, and straightforward. At the 250,000 km mark, we chose renewal over compromise, giving the camper a deep mechanical refresh with a fully rebuilt engine, renewed suspension, and key drivetrain upgrades. Now, at 36 years vintage, it drives smoothly and confidently, with the calm assurance that comes from careful stewardship. This is not a camper defined by gadgets or speed, but by character and presence.
