Dethleffs Caravane de Julian

The caravan is old (from 1989), but it works fine. We have primarily used it for short trips with friends and festivals. The caravan includes a big portable speaker (powered with a car battery), which you can borrow if you wish. There is also big awning (fortelt), which you can also have. However, be aware that this is old too, so extra patience may be required with it. The caravan does not have an internal heating system and, because it is old, the insulation is not great. However, this should not be a problem in the summer months. If the caravan is parked in a place with access to electricity it is always possible to use a portable heater. The caravan includes a small electrical space heater (which of course requires access to electricity). The caravan does not have a bathroom and the water system is currently out of order. The caravan includes a gas-stove, cooking equipment, tableware, a fridge and a freezer. The caravan is therefore recommended for summer months and for areas, where there is access to bathrooms and showers, such as festivals and camping areas. Overall, it is a great caravan if you are looking for something simple and affordable.
