You as the camper owner set the daily prices. When creating the camper profile we give you some price recommendation plus you can also get inspired by other lenders renting out on MyCamper. For the different seasons (high season, low season, winter season) different prices can be defined. You can adjust the prices at any time and experiment which prices generate the most requests. If the camper is insured by the MyCamper-Baloise insurance, the premium for the insurance and the service fee for MyCamper of 20% will be deducted from the defined daily price. You will see a price preview in your camper profile. The prices quoted at the time of the rental request apply to the renters. However, you can adjust the price afterwards for individual bookings.

When making a booking request and immediate booking, prospective renters specify their destination, some personal data, the travel dates and number of travellers. In addition, the interested parties introduce themselves to you so that you can get an idea of them and their plans. You will also get the phone number of the renter to clarify details directly by phone. In your profile you can write to the renter directly to ask for more information if needed.

You start by registering your camper free of charge on the MyCamper platform. Upload pictures and specify some details of your vehicle. You as a lender can determine prices, insurances the rental conditions. When your camper is published potential renters will be able to send you bookings requests. You will get notified of who and when someone wants to rent your camper. You have full control of deciding who is going to be able to rent your vehicle. In your profile you will be able to message and ask the renter any information you deem necessary. You have 24 hours to decide whether you accept the booking request or not. The renter is then asked to pay the total of the reservation to MyCamper. After the booking start you will receive the rental income from MyCamper.

Either your camper is covered by your own insurance for the rental or you use our Baloise insurance solution, which insures the vehicles on a daily basis as a rental vehicle. In general, most insurance companies exclude paid rental in their General Terms of Insurance. Baloise Insurance covers your camper for the rental of fully comprehensive and liability insurance. However, you can also join us if your camper is already insured as a rental vehicle. In this case, the Baloise Insurance does not apply. You as a lender can decide if the interior insurance applies for all your rentals.

Yes, you will receive everything you need via e-mail from MyCamper. The rental contract contains of a handover protocol which is filled out with the renter directly. When the renter brings your vehicle back after the holidays the return protocol (also part of the rental contract) is filled out. When a booking is paid and confirmed you will receive a contract tailored for your rental. The renter will also receive the insurance policy. In our help center you will find some checklists and documents which can be adapted and specified for your vehicle.
